Business Formation
Same-day LLC, S-Corp, and C-Corp formation in all 50 states. We've filed over 10,000 entities since 2006 — including the most common (Delaware LLC) and the least common (Wyoming series LLC, Nevada close corp, you name it).
What's included
- State filing — Articles of Organization or Articles of Incorporation submitted to your chosen state.
- EIN application — Federal Tax ID number from the IRS, typically same-day.
- Operating agreement or bylaws — Custom-drafted to your entity type, ownership structure, and state.
- Registered agent (first year included) — A registered agent in your state of formation, with mail scanning and forwarding.
- S-Corp election (if applicable) — Form 2553 prepared and filed.
- Initial compliance setup — Annual report calendar, beneficial ownership filing (BOI), and state-specific requirements.
Choosing the right entity
Most owners default to LLC because it's familiar. That's often right — but not always. Single-member LLC, multi-member LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp, LLP, sole proprietorship each have specific tax and liability trade-offs. We'll walk you through the decision before you file, not after.
Timeline
Most states: same-day or next-business-day filing. Delaware, Nevada, Wyoming, and Texas typically file within hours. California and New York can take 5–10 business days due to state processing backlogs — we'll set expectations upfront based on your chosen state.
What it costs
Formation packages start at $299 plus state filing fees. State fees range from $50 (Kentucky) to $500 (Massachusetts). The full quote — service plus state fee — is shown before you pay. No surprise add-ons.
What happens after you file
Formation is step one. You'll also need a business bank account, bookkeeping setup, tax registration, insurance, and ongoing compliance. The Everyday Owner's Blueprint walks you through every one of those steps over twelve weeks — for $1 the first week, $29/month after.
